Vocational
Training and Production Center (VTPC) |
The Ethiopian Women’s Development Fund, Vocational Training and
Production Center was established five decade before. It starts vocational
training and production since 1930’s under the Haileselassie epoch.
In 1952 the Center had been carry the name of Empress Tenangework Haileselassie.
She was the founder of Vocational School.
In 1968 the Vocational School reform its previous name by Vocational
and Training Center which was activate under the Addis Ababa women’s
association counsel.
In contemporary the production center has been providing cultural, authentic
and smart garment.
Currently the Center mainly emphasized on women to develop their vocational
skills by using special training in order to create job opportunity and
to support themselves meanwhile.

The main tasks currently run by VTPC are
- Receiving handicraft products from women producer on consignment
base.
- Creating job opportunity for women through special training.
- Receive and manufacture children, gentlemen, and ladies traditional
cloth with affordable price and at right time delivery.
- Arrange sales shop for women lacking place to market their products.
